What we collect, and what we do not.
VialClock has no accounts, no sign-up and no forms. Nothing you type into a calculator is ever sent anywhere. This page says exactly what is measured and what is stored.

1. The short version
Every calculator on this site runs entirely in your browser. The vial sizes, doses, water volumes and dates you enter are never transmitted, never logged and never seen by us or anyone else.
We measure page views with Google Analytics, which sets cookies and tells us which pages are read and roughly which country a visit came from. That is the only tracking on the site, and it cannot see anything you type.
2. What the calculators do with your numbers
Nothing leaves the page. The reconstitution calculator, the dilution calculator, the unit converter, the cost and expiry tools and every per-compound page compute in JavaScript in your browser. There is no server to send a calculation to, because the site is a set of static files with no backend, no database and no API.
This is verifiable rather than a promise. The site sends no form and makes no network request when you change an input. If you open your browser's network inspector and use any calculator, you will see nothing sent.
3. What stays on your device
Two tools remember what you entered, using your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device and we cannot read it:
pc-symptom-log-v1, the 14 day symptom grid on the side effect pages.pc-starter-v1, which items you have ticked on the getting started checklist.
Clearing your browser's site data removes both. In a private window they may not save at all, which is expected and does not break either tool.
4. Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are useful. It sets cookies in your browser and collects the pages you view, approximate location derived from your IP address, your device type, browser and screen size, and how you arrived at the site.
Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. We have also switched off every advertising signal it offers: ad_storage, ad_user_data andad_personalization are all set to denied and stay denied. We do not run advertising, do not build audiences and do not sell or share data with anyone.
Analytics runs on the live site only. It is switched off in development and preview builds, so it never records work in progress.
5. Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Vercel, which serves the pages and keeps standard server logs including IP addresses, requested URLs and timestamps. These are ordinary web server records kept for security and reliability, not analytics we query. Vercel acts as our hosting provider and processes this data on our behalf.
6. What is never collected
- No account, username or password, because there is nothing to sign up for.
- No name, email address, postal address or phone number.
- No calculator inputs. Not a dose, not a vial size, not a date.
- No health records, prescriptions or medical history.
- No payment details. The website sells nothing.
7. The iOS app
The VialClock iOS app is designed so that what you log stays on your device. It is not yet released. When it ships, this section will be updated to describe exactly what it stores and whether any of it is backed up or synced, and the App Store privacy label will match this page.
If the app offers a subscription, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple. We never see your card details. Apple provides us with anonymous, aggregated sales reporting only.
8. Your choices
You can stop analytics collection in any of these ways:
- Install Google's official opt out browser add on.
- Block cookies for this site, or block analytics domains, in your browser settings.
- Use a content blocker or a browser that blocks trackers by default.
None of these affect the calculators. Every tool on the site works with cookies and JavaScript storage fully blocked, because none of them depend on either.
The site does not currently show a cookie consent banner. If you are in a region where one is required before analytics cookies are set, block cookies for this site using the options above until that changes.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export personal data held about you, to object to processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. This applies to residents of the UK and the European Economic Area under the GDPR, and to residents of California and other states with comparable laws.
In practice we hold almost nothing that could identify you. We have no account for you, no contact details and no way to link an analytics session to a person. If you want the analytics data associated with your device removed, clearing your site data for this domain removes the identifier it relies on.
10. Children
This site is intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
11. Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes, such as adding a new third party or a new category of data, will be described here rather than quietly folded in.
12. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@vialclock.com.
We aim to reply to privacy requests within 30 days.
