Investigational

The maths works. The vial is the question.

Reconstitution arithmetic for retatrutide is identical to any other lyophilised peptide. What differs is that nothing behind the vial is verified.

The science

An investigational compound, with the caveat attached

01

Retatrutide is a triple agonist still in clinical trials. No regulator has approved it, which means there is no licensed titration schedule, no approved indication and no pharmacy supply chain behind what is sold online.

02

Because it arrives lyophilised in a vial, the arithmetic is the same as any other reconstituted peptide: concentration is vial size divided by water, and syringe units follow from there. The calculator below does that conversion.

03

What the calculator cannot do is tell you the vial contains what the label claims, at the purity claimed, in the quantity claimed. Research-market compounds are not quality-controlled, and accurate arithmetic on an unverified vial is still arithmetic on an unverified vial.

04

Dose schedules circulating for retatrutide are extrapolated from published trial protocols. Trial protocols are research designs run under supervision, not prescribing guidance, and treating them as such is a category error.

FAQ

Common questions

How do you calculate a retatrutide dose?

Divide the milligrams in the vial by the millilitres of bacteriostatic water added to get concentration in mg/ml. Divide your dose by that concentration for the volume, then multiply by 100 for units on a U-100 syringe. A 10 mg vial in 2 ml is 5 mg/ml, so a 2 mg dose is 0.4 ml, or 40 units.

Is there an approved retatrutide dosing schedule?

No. Retatrutide is investigational and no regulator has approved a titration schedule for it. Any schedule circulating online is extrapolated from clinical trial protocols, which are not prescribing guidance.

How much water should I use for a retatrutide vial?

The volume only sets the concentration, so choose one that makes your dose land on a readable syringe mark. For a 10 mg vial, 2 ml is a common choice because it produces round numbers at typical dose sizes.

Is retatrutide legal to buy?

It is sold as a research chemical, labelled not for human consumption. It has no approval for human use, no quality control requirements behind it, and no guarantee that the contents match the label.

Every tool here is stateless by design. What it cannot do is remember that your vial was mixed eleven days ago, or that a step-up is due this week.
