Help with VialClock.
Questions about the app or the calculators on this site. If what you need is not here, write to us and a person will read it.

1. Get in touch
Email hello@vialclock.com. For the app itself, see VialClock on the App Store. We read everything and aim to reply within two working days.
There is no phone line and no live chat. One person builds and supports this, and email is the honest answer rather than a queue that nobody is watching.
2. Where your data lives
What you log in the app stays on your iPhone unless you turn on iCloud sync, in which case it syncs through your own iCloud account. We cannot see it either way.
On this website, every calculator runs in your browser. The vial sizes, doses, water volumes and dates you type are never transmitted and never stored on a server.
To remove everything on the website, clear your browser's site data for this domain. To remove everything in the app, delete the app, or use the data controls inside it if you want to keep the app installed.
3. Subscriptions and refunds
Subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple. We never see your payment details.
Managing or cancelling
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, thenSubscriptions, and choose VialClock. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your access running until the end of the period you already paid for.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, use Restore Purchasesinside the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account that bought the subscription.
Refunds
Refunds for App Store purchases are issued by Apple, not by us. Request one atreportaproblem.apple.com. We cannot approve or reverse a charge, but tell us if something went wrong and we will help where we can.
4. Common questions
A calculator result looks wrong
Check the three inputs first: the amount on the vial, the volume of liquid you added, and the dose. The most common cause is a unit mix-up. One milligram is one thousand micrograms, so entering a dose in the wrong unit changes the answer by a factor of a thousand. HCG is measured in international units, which never convert to milligrams.
If the result still looks wrong, email us the three numbers you entered and what you expected. Every result on the site and in the app shows its working, so a disagreement is usually quick to pin down.
My dose lands under two units
Syringe units scale with the volume of liquid in the vial. A larger volume puts the same dose higher up the barrel, where the graduations are easier to read. A smaller volume does the opposite. The tools show you where each option lands so you can see the tradeoff rather than guess at it.
Reminders are not arriving
Check that notifications are allowed: Settings, thenNotifications, then VialClock. Also check that Focus or Do Not Disturb is not filtering them, and that the app is not restricted in Low Power Mode.
Does the app work offline
Yes. The calculators and your logs work with no connection, because nothing is computed on a server.
5. Reporting a problem
To get a fix quickly, include:
- What you expected, and what happened instead.
- For a calculation, the exact numbers and units you entered.
- Your iPhone model and iOS version, and the app version from the app's settings screen.
- A screenshot, if the problem is visible.
Arithmetic bugs are treated as urgent. If you believe a result is wrong, say so in the subject line and we will look at it first.
6. Privacy and terms
The privacy policy sets out exactly what is collected, which on the website is page views and nothing you type. The terms of usecover both the site and the app.
VialClock does not provide medical advice. The tools perform arithmetic on numbers you supply. They do not recommend a dose, a schedule, a compound or a supplier, and they are not a substitute for a qualified prescriber.
